Lawrence W. Powers is a retired professor of natural sciences and has published books in medical technology, marine bioloågy, and animal behavior. He has authored articles for The Oregon Encyclopedia (online), Steinbeck Review, and The Journal of the Shaw Historical Library.As L. Wade Powers, he has published three novels: The Home (2017), The Party House (2019), and New Albion Sunset (2020). His short stories have appeared in various anthologies and in two published collections: Falling In Love and Other Misadventures (2018), and Confronting the Boundaries (2020). Larry lives in eastern Oregon with his wife and a very strange cat.
