Jones is the author of many books for children and young adults, including Matthew and Tilly, which has sold over 100,000 copies and was an ABA "Pick of the List" and NCSS Notable Trade Book. She holds bachelor and master degrees in journalism from Northwestern University and currently lives in Annapolis, Maryland.
