Matthew S. Deal is a geography scholar and author of 'The Science Handbook'. He's a devoted husband of a talented piano pedagogue and the father of a vibrant teenager, additionally, he's been a musician, a sculptor, an artist, a lifelong learner, and cancer survivor. He writes best on vacation otherwise he becomes distracted by beautifully designed objects such as bikes, guitars and 1980s Toyota pickups.
