Frank A. Tillman, PhD, PE, has a varied career of over thirty years in academia, consulting, and real estate development. He served as department head at Kansas State University for more than twenty years, where he published over fifty professional articles and four books. He has also authored several books for professionals identifying the approaches that work best for solving problems and offering practicable solutions. Deandra T. Cassone, PhD, PMP, serves as an associate professor in the Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering program at Kansas State University and has been in management at a Fortune 100 company. Her career of over twenty-five years includes consulting, technical, and management roles and has published two books. With an interest in building structured decision-making models, she has been awarded numerous business process patents. Together they have authored "A Professional's Guide to Decision Science and Problem Solving" and "The Science of Common Sense: Best Practical Decision Science Methods."
