Autorenporträt
Sherrie Schmidt, a retired elementary teacher, enjoyed being creative in her classroom to make each day, a happy day. She believed that if children loved to come to school, they will learn! Using children books as a basis for all subjects taught, the students became more engaged when the lesson would relate to the story. Her first book, The Seashell Safe Harbor was inspired by her love of the coastal life, being happy, and finding the courage to pursue her dream of writing children's books.
