Domenico Cacciola is a retired member of the Queensland police force. He received the Queen's Commendation for Brave Conduct in 1977 and the National Medal in 1991. Carmelo Cacciola is Domenico's brother and a short story author. Ben Robertson is a former print and television journalist. He is the author of "The Von: Stories and Suggestions from Australian Golf's Little Master."
