Beginning to write song lyrics in the 1980s, Raymond Crane changed to writing novellas several years ago while living abroad. His work embraces popular, contemporary themes. With personal interests including music, anthropology and philosophy, he has now returned to his hometown, Adelaide. He has previously published The Secret Journals of Alien X.
