Roddy Martine is a freelance journalist, author and broadcaster based in Edinburgh. He has written a number of best-selling books, including Living in the Highlands (Thames and Hudson, 2000), Scottish Clans and Family Names (Mainstream, various edns) and The Edinburgh Military Tattoo (Robert Hale, 2001).
