Functional classification and protein-protein interaction network depicted involvement of majority of these proteins in coagulation and complement cascades. The proteome map is expected to serve as a baseline prerequisite for monitoring swine health and disease status as well as to understand different physiological or pathological conditions in pig.

Dr. Ankan De completed his M.V.Sc. from WBUAFS, Kolkata and Ph.D. from CAU, Imphal in Veterinary Biochemistry. Presently working as Assistant Professor in Biochemistry, CVSc & AH, Agartala, Tripura. He has 8 years of teaching and research experience and has published more than 25 research papers in international and national journals.
