Autorenporträt
Michael Lane has taught biology and marine biology in the public and private school systems and through different Christian ministries for the past 30 years. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University and did his graduate work at Northern Illinois University and Southern Illinois University in molecular biology. He also worked at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago as an instructor of marine biology and as a curriculum writer. Since 2021 He has been working as the Founder and Executive Director of Evidence 4 Faith, a Christian apologetics ministry focused on helping people find faith in God through the study of science, history, the Bible, and logic. Michaela Lane Vorwerk has been helping her father, author Michael Lane, develop this book for the Marine Biology program since he began teaching it in the public school system in the 1980s. She originally developed many of the technical drawings you find in the book today. Amanda Sommer and Heather Anderson, Michael's two other daughters, were also instrumental in developing the original book this publication is based on. Michaela Lane Vorwerk and Joie Suson teach on the Marine Biology trip every year. Charlotte Fohner is the Creative Director for Evidence 4 Faith, a Christian apologetics ministry founded by author Michael Lane.
