My family came from the tropical rain forest in Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, and we set off to the north for a thousand-kilometer-hike that covered half of the province. We crossed mountains and jungles, through villages and cities on our way. The elephant protectors provided ample food for our trip, and they recorded the happy moments when we enjoyed our mud bath, corn feast, and beauty sleep. Over the years, it has planned excellent publications such as Grandpa Rattan Chair Telling the Ethnic Stories of Yunnan and Picture Book of Classical Stories of Yunnan Ethnic Minorities. Zhou Daling graduated from Yunnan Normal University with a major in Art Design and is working for a well-known design company in Shenzhen. His commercial packaging designs have won many national awards. His illustrations for picture books that are various in styles can be seen in many publications.
