This work examines the crucial role of adrenal hormones, such as cortisol and aldosterone, in a variety of essential physiological processes. Focusing on their influence on the health of the elderly, we explore how these hormones interact with other regulatory systems to maintain the body's equilibrium. We also examine age-associated changes in adrenal gland function and their impact on overall health. In addition, we discuss therapeutic implications and advances in bioinorganic research to treat disorders related to impaired adrenal function. This work aims to deepen our understanding of the underlying mechanisms and propose future perspectives for personalized medicine in aging and health.
