El Dr. Abdelhafid Mimouni es un investigador independiente especializado en química de sistemas bioinorgánicos, con amplia experiencia en síntesis y caracterización macromolecular. Obtuvo su doctorado en química por la Universidad de París XII en 1997 y un Diplôme d'Études Approfondies en sistemas bioinorgánicos por la Universidad de París XI en 1993.
