Brent Monahan received his doctor of musical arts with honors from Indiana University, Bloomington. His concentration was vocal pedagogy, the teaching of the singing voice. He has performed professionally in concert, opera, oratorio, musical comedy, and cabaret and was for several years tenor-in-residence at Rutgers University. He has taught many pupils in private practice. Brent lives in Yardly, Pennsylvania.
