Ângela Rita Teixeira è nata a Padre João Afonso. È madre di quattro splendide bambine e ha una grande passione per la natura e i libri. Ha imparato a leggere all'età di cinque anni e non ha mai smesso. Sua madre era insegnante in una scuola in campagna e quindi l'autrice ha letto tutti i libri di quella scuola. È stata insegnante di scienze e biologia e apprendista per 17 anni presso l'E. E. Padre João Afonso. E. Padre João Afonso.
