The Moroccan Kingdom is very rich in local products: dates, figs, argan oil, saffron, honey ... products that have always been present in Moroccan homes sometimes little often, have managed to return in force in recent years thanks in particular to the multiplication of cooperatives. As a result, a national strategy for the development of the social and solidarity economy has been put in place, outlining a roadmap for public action in favor of the social and solidarity economy that is comprehensive, concerted and harmonious, promoting synergy and complementarity between the actions of the various public actors in the social economy. Among other things, the ultimate goals of this strategy are to facilitate the emergence of an efficient and structured social and solidarity economy capable of playing a full role in the fight against poverty, precariousness and exclusion, to contribute to an integrated territorial development based on the rational exploitation and enhancement of local wealth and potential as well as to improve the visibility and the knowledge of the sector
