ANNA READING is Principal Lecturer in the Division of Arts and Media at South Bank University, London. She has published books and articles in the areas of gender, media and cultural memory. She is author of Polish Women, Solidarity and Feminism, (researched with Colin Sparks) and, Communism, Capitalism and the Mass Media.
