J. Hale was born in the early 90s in Germany. At the age of 16, she moved to the United Kingdom by herself. Only then was she diagnosed with dyslexia. Thus her affinity for fantastical and romantic stories, she never thought entitled to express. As a result, she searched for a non-written creative outlet.Struggling to find fulfilment in her visual creativity, and because she couldn't find enough of the kind of books she enjoyed reading, she started writing stories. Finally, some of the characters, relationships, places, and worlds she had held hostage in her head for years were released onto the page.
