In the current context, citizenship education is a process that is part of the socialisation of individuals whose purpose is education in social values, such as responsibility and participation, which cooperate in the development of supportive behaviour, based on full identification with the community and respect for coexistence. In this purpose, all institutions and organisations with educational functions in the community are called upon to collaborate, which marks the need to rethink new variants that include the socio-cultural contextualisation of the citizenship training of students in the pedagogical careers for a sustainable local human development, This is based on a pedagogical intentionality that is oriented towards the conscious development achieved in the formation of values, patriotic and political-ideological preparation, as well as the economic and legal awareness that is required in the current conditions of the world.
