Autorenporträt
David was born in the heart of London 1957, the only son of middle class working parents, themselves both North Londoners. They moved from Euston Road in Kings Cross to the growing town of Goodmayes, but moved to East Anglia when David was a teenager. He completed his education in Gorleston before joining the civil service in the form of H.M. Customs & Excise in 1973. After nearly 40 years of service he retired in 2012. He has been writing seriously since 2000 when a football injury left him with time on his hands. David has always been imaginative and enjoyed writing. He is interested in social aspects of future earth societies rather than space travel and alien life forms. He is also interested in time travel too, but his novels are diverse and not easy to categorise, featuring romance, drama and crime. David has always written in various forms, including poetry, short stories and plays as well as novels but until recently his writing always had to be fitted in around full-time work. He now lives with his second wife Louise in Lowestoft with the ability to devote more time to writing.
