Sandra M. Smith is an educator with experience in the areas of exceptional education and school counseling. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, in her hometown, Richmond, Virginia. VCU is where she met her bestie, Regina Blagmon. Sandra is a neuroendocrine cancer survivor who wants to help others make the most beneficial moves toward winning against cancer and other serious diseases. Sandra founded the Regina Blagmon Memorial Scholarship with financial support from the Blagmon family and contributors. She serves as a minister at the Children of God Victory Tabernacle. She lives in Chesterfield County, Virginia, with her husband and children. She loves watching documentaries and cooking at home in her kitchen. Her most recent interest is crocheting. Besties in the Battle is Sandra's first book.
