As a young boy growing up in the turmoil of a mining strike in Ajo, Arizona, a great family and love of sci-fi kept Chad blissfully oblivious to the troubles around him. His interest in science and the stars continued to grow throughout his youth and into adulthood. It was during this time that he began developing ideas about space travel, aliens, and possibilities. The beginnings of a fantastic science fiction series began to flirt with the would-be author, but then he made a terrible mistake. The consequences of his actions would cost him fifteen years and take him to the cold hard walls of the prison system. Chad will always wonder what his life would have been like if he didn't fill out that corrections officer application. Time served, he quickly realized it was time to find out what he nearly missed.
