Garret Biss was born and raised in the great first state in Wilmington, Delaware. Garret enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1999, beginning a 16-year career of service to his country. During this time, he earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree at the University of Maryland, A. James Clark School of Engineering, and a commission as an officer in the Marines. As a KC-130 pilot, Garret had the opportunity to serve from various bases around the world. While on one of his most recent deployments, Garret was inspired to help others find meaning in their lives through writing and sharing his reflections about life, happiness, success and contribution.
