Autorenporträt
Luise von Flotow is a translation studies professor at the University of Ottawa. She lives in Ottawa, Ontario. She has translated six previous books for Guernica, including Theoret's Girls Closed in. France Theoret is a Quebec writer born in Montreal in 1942. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of Montreal and a Ph.D. in French Studies from the University of Sherbrooke. She also studied semiotics and psychoanalysis in Paris in 1972 to 1974. She has published more than a dozen books.
