The National Park of Lura, is one of the 13 national parks of Albania which was promulgated from the Council of Ministers, on 21st November 1966.It is situated in Dibra District and covers a surface of 1280 ha.Lura has been considered at the time a ¿Pearl of the Albanian Nature¿.Of course, it continues to be a nature beauty, but it has gone through some damages, espeacially deforestation these last years. This study is about Lura nature regeneration possibilities.The particularity of Lura National Park is that in its territory there are situated 14 glacial lakes that are located 1350 -1720 m above the sea level. These lakes are considered natural monuments by the Council of Ministers and have the status of protected zones. The National Park of Lura is characterised from the beech (Fagus silvatica L), the Macedonian Pine (Pinus Peuce Gris) and the Bosnian Pine (Pinus heldreich Christ.) These species cover a surface of 1100 ha, the pastures and meadows cover round 50 ha, the surface of lakes covers round 30 ha and 100 ha are covered in rocks.
