Yohannes Mehari est titulaire d'une licence et d'une maîtrise en sciences animales et en production animale de l'université de Haramaya. Il a plus de 28 ans d'expérience pratique dans différentes organisations : SNV, USAID, ILRI et le ministère de l'agriculture. Il a occupé différents postes. Il travaille actuellement comme conseiller du secteur laitier à la SNV.
