Despite such tempting support for its importance, current studies incessantly showed parent involvement is underutilized both in developing and developed countries. Therefore, this study critically traces the status of parental involvement in one of the developing countries - Ethiopia. Through this research project the author aims to share examples of what we consider to be the most potential mechanisms and recommendations for scaling up the status of parental involvement in developing countries.
