Jonathan Rice has written more than 50 books, on subjects as varied as Japan, popular music, and television sitcoms, but his specialist subject is cricket. His Pavilion Book of Pavilions won a William Hill Sports Book award, and his Presidents of MCC was shortlisted for Sports Book Of The Year. For many years Jonathan wrote for Wisden Cricket Monthly. In 2018 he was president of Kent County Cricket Club.
