Cheryl Woodruff-Brooks's second book, Golden Beauty Boss: The Story of Madame Sara Spencer Washington and the Apex Empire, was released three weeks before the pandemic. Since the pandemic, Cheryl has been a contributing writer to After the Pandemic (Sunbury Press, 2020) and Speaking of Atlantic City: A Collection of Memories. In addition, Cheryl has visited middle-school-aged students to discuss her books and speak at various events such as Black Girl Beach Day, which took place on the sands of historical Chicken Bone Beach, Rowan University, and the Atlantic City Historical Museum. Cheryl has been interviewed by several newspapers such as the Philadelphia Tribune, celebrity strategist and on-air radio personality Dyana Williams of Philadelphia's Radio One, IHeart Radio, podcasts, and online radio stations. Cheryl is also a professional singer/songwriter, writing songs for her music projects and other artists.
