Autorenporträt
Tom Wilson is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and Bath Spa University. He is currently working on a doctorate focusing on his research on the former Commonwealth Institute in Kensington, soon to be the new home of the Design Museum. In addition to undertaking research, Tom works closely with the Design Museum in managing and developing its permanent collection. Tom Wilson is Head of Collection and Research at the Design Museum in London. In 2016 he completed his AHRC-funded PhD on the design and display strategies of the Commonwealth Institute, the Design Museum's new home. Before joining the museum he taught Critical and Contextual Studies at London Metropolitan University. In 2013, Wilson was Curator in Residence at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad as part of the British Council's Design Curation Programme in India.
