Methods and Materials This research was a Cross-sectional study and whenever children were brought by their parents at pediatric service of Maiwand teaching hospital and took complete history of children and also performed physical examination upon them then according to their signs and symptoms Direct stool microscopy and concentration techniques were utilised to identify parasites. Questionnaires were also administered.Result : in this study we found that prevalence of giardia lamblia parasite in 144 children of under five age (61.2%) were positive and however in 56 children under five age(38.8%) were negative.
