This book aims to assess the quality of Persian translation two Persian translations of Andrew Matthews (2002), "Follow Your Heart" based on House's (1997) model of translation quality assessment. The writers of this documentary book chose The House's model (1997) for this investigation which as a linguistically -oriented approach, benefits pragmatic theories of language and Halliday's functional and systemic theory. House introduced the useful stages of syntactical, lexical and textual elements of the text. The authors analyzed the main book and the translation based on different dimensions of register including genre, field, tenor and mode in a classified way to find mismatches and errors in a kind of innovative way by inventing a lot of tables. The overt and target system errors were categorized into omissions, additions, substitutions, and breaches of the target language system. Then, the frequencies of occurrences of subcategories of overt errors along with their percentageswere calculated. the analysis showed no significant difference between the percentages of the overt strategies.
