Cecil H. Uyehara, BA in Political Science, Keio University (Tokyo), MA in Political Economy, University of Minnesota, and National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) Fellow at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government (1963-64). He has published on Japanese internal politics, the political process, U.S.-Japan science and technology agreements, Afghan and Japanese philately, and Japanese calligraphy.
