A house most would love, vehicles others envy, a 401K offering a great start for the family's retirement, real estate investments, a year or two from debt freedom (other than the mortgage), a beautiful wife, three wonderful children, a thriving ministry and a great corporate job-sounds great for a 30-something African-American man in America, right? I thought so too. But then in 2009, the house I built came tumbling down. In a year's time, I went from married to divorced, from gainful employment to the unemployment line, from being on the road to financial freedom to financial ruin, from having a family "unit" to a divided, two-parent household for three children who had only known a unified family. The life that most would envy turned to the life that most would dread. And here's the amazing part: Up until 2009, outsiders looking in would have viewed my life as a success. But I've learned that success cannot be defined by the standards most of us ascribe to. This book is a journey to help anyone who is searching for significance or success to truly know what it means to be successful while understanding the importance of the journey. Come along on this journey to explore these keys to your ultimate success and discover 5 keys that can truly change your life and allow you to experience joy during the journey!
