Autorenporträt
The author holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She has spent many years running a non-profit organization for a rare disease that two of her children have. In that capacity, she has written articles and chapters of a medical nature. Now as a mother of three and grandmother of six she has gone back to her original love of children and family to write her first children's book. Having experienced the changes in child rearing over the years, she wrote this book for all the grandparents, parents, and children of this generation. The illustrator is the daughter of the author. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in LaCrosse with a B.A. in art and a minor in photography. She shares her mother's love of family and children and expresses that love in very creative ways.
