About the Author Kathy Diebold lives in Pompano Beach, Florida. She has worked with and advocated for children her entire adult life. The Sun Jumped Over the Moon is her first children's book, which has been received with great excitement by the many children with whom she has shared this story. About the Illustrator Emily Smith lives in Evansville, Indiana. She is married to Jason and has four children - Lane, Eli, Hannah, and Landon. In her spare time, Emily provides home decorating services.
