It was guided by the use of two objectives: To find out why the Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education programme must be offered at Kwame Nkrumah University and to determine measurable actions that would improve the sustainability of offering a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education programme at Kwame Nkrumah University. The study uses a qualitative type of research which was conducted by using an interview guide and open-ended questionnaires as data-collecting instruments in 36 primary school from teachers and headmasters. The findings of this study revealed there are a lot of things that need to be done at national level, especially the aspect of sensitisation on the importance of Early Childhood Education.
