We were interested in the relationship between sustainable development on the Mauritanian coast and environmental constraints, in particular with regard to the production of fish protein and waste inherent in this activity. The research bulletins issued by IMROP and the audits of physico-chemical & bacteriological parameters of seawater (Nouadhibou Bay) carried out over the last five years by ONISPA show variability, which is rather pathogenic! To contain and manage this risk, we propose the Sustainable Profitability Equation Rd (t).The yield being 25%, the remaining 75% of the treated fish are waste (glue water and wastewater), which weighs heavily and doubly, as a limiting factor for the yield, and as a source of pollution for the environment. There, we can clearly see the environmental cost and the economic and financial burden of Glue Water and Wastewater (Average price: $ 1,500 / T of fishmeal) and we feel the urgency to treat them more and recycle them. The Optimization of Rd (t) would be the subject of a future paper.
