E W Finke writes from knowledge acquired during almost thirty-five years of experience with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, including work with Native American nations. He later trained and worked briefly as a mediator and facilitator specializing in environmental matters. He has now turned that experience to writing environmental crime fiction.The Sweet Bounty is his first novel. It is set in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, a fascinating place he fell in love with during his first visit in 2001, and a place he has returned to many times since.He now makes his home in Bellingham, Washington with his wife Nadine, his dog Buster, and his cat Turmeric. He enjoys spending as much time outdoors as he possibly can.
