The formation of educated, highly intelligent personalities, possessing a wide range of competences, for integration in the society is main mission of the school education. The monograph presents results of testing a synergistic model of the personal orientated learning for the development of key and transversal competences. At an empirical level, the success and achieved competences of the pupils are tracked, as well as the factors influencing them-gender, ethnicity, group, family environment, specificity of the studied discipline, activity of the pupils in the learning and participation in extracurricular and out of school education forms. An integrated model for the influence of these factors was derived. The results of the survey dedicated to participation of the main partners in the learning process (pupils, teachers, parents) are presented. The results for the success and competences on the end of education are compared to the results from National external evaluation. The comparative analysis confirms the effect of the application of the synergetic model. The results obtained are interpreted by the position of basic philosophy directions and categories.
