E.E. Flegel is a writer, nurse, mom, and pet lover. After her family experienced the loss of their beloved family dogs, she decided to write a book to share how adopting a new pet helped the whole family heal. When she isn't writing, Flegel likes to ski, camp, and watch her kids play hockey. She lives in a small town in B.C., with her husband Danny, her kids Maddy, Wyatt, and Rhys, and, of course, their dog Ringo.
