Dr. Susan R. Andrews, the General Presbyter at the Hudson River Presbytery, is the daughter and granddaughter of Presbyterian pastors. Andrews served as the Moderator of the 215th General Assembly of the PCUSA. A graduate of Wellesley College, Andrews received her M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School and her D.Min. from McCormick Theological Seminary. Prior to her current position, Andrews served as a parish pastor for 32 years in three different congregations located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. She is married to The Reverend Simmons Gardner and is the mother of Nathan and Anna.
