In this series of essays, Bruce Bibee is addressing the 'teen problem.' It's actually chapters in two books that he wrote on this subject a number of years ago. Someone encouraged the author to publish it, because, from her point-of-view, the ideas he develops in the following 'chapters' are relevant to the discussion about raising healthy teens. This work is separated into two volumes. In this book, the author examines the teen problem. In the companion book, he examines one solution to the problem. Bruce Bibee has dedicated an entire book to defining the problem because, as the Zen saying goes, "The answer is in the question." We must first fully and completely define the problem before we can ever hope to find a solution to the problem.
