He, alongside his companions, must unravel the mystery of how this beast came to the unsuspecting town of Licorne and somehow kill it. Lose and Licorne will become the monster's paradise. And all the while, they must keep an eye over their shoulder. After all, why are all the chickens going missing? ¿¿¿¿¿ - That a story with magic as a beam supporting is also coherently written, straightforward, and more or less makes sense is a rare beast indeed -- and this is one of those beasties. ¿¿¿¿¿ - I really enjoyed this short story and would recommend it. It was well-written, with a fun cast of characters and an interesting, imaginative plot. The Arcana's Bestiary Series was conceptualised during the 2020 Lockdowns as a satricial fantasy novella series. The Tellier Cockatrice, which has featured in Amazon's Bestseller lists for fantasy books, was inspired from a lifetime of enjoying RPGs, fantasy media and quirky offbeat stories.
