John Lynch taught elementary school students in grades second through sixth for forty-one years before retiring in 2013. He has an undeniable love for God, his wife Irene, and his family. Formerly from Massachusetts, John has been a Sarasota County, Florida resident since 1988. He graduated from Norwood High School in 1964, Chamberlyne Jr. College in 1966, and Boston State College in 1972, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education. He received his master's degree from Nova Southeastern University. John taught at the Balch School in Norwood, Massachusetts, for sixteen years before moving to Sarasota, Florida, with his family. John taught at Ashton Elementary School for seventeen years and eight years at Tatum Ridge Elementary School in Sarasota, FL. He is a member of St. Patrick's Church and a fourth-degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. John is a member of the Divine Mercy Cenacle, the Faith Formation team, and a Eucharistic Minister. His community service included delivering Meals on Wheels. John loves writing, spending time with his wife Irene, children, and grandchildren.
