Fikret Yegül is Distinguished Professor of Architecture in the Department of History of Art and Architecture at the University of California at Santa Barbara. A member of the Sardis Archaeological Expedition since 1964, he is the author of Baths and Bathing in Classical Antiquity, which won the Alice D. Hitchcock Award from the Society of Architectural Historians, and, with Diane Favro, Roman Architecture and Urbanism, which won the American Association of Publisher's PROSE awards for Excellence in Art History and Reference Publishing.
