Autorenporträt
Andrew D. Gross, Ph.D. (2006), New York University, is Associate Professor of Semitic Languages at the Catholic University of America. He has published on the intersection of Aramaic and cuneiform legal culture, including Continuity and Innovation in the Aramaic Legal Tradition (Brill, 2008). Lawrence H. Schiffman is Judge Abraham Lieberman Professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies and Director of the Global Network for Advanced Research in Jewish Studies at New York University. He is author and editor of numerous books and articles on the Dead Sea Scrolls and ancient Judaism, including Courtyards of the House of the Lord: A Study of the Temple Scroll (Brill, 2008) and co-editor of the Encyclopedia of the Dead Sea Scrolls (Oxford, 2000). He is a member of the International Team that published the Dead Sea Scrolls.
