Death gives meaning to our lives. It gives importance and value to time. Time would become meaningless if there were too much of it. The philosophical enterprise took root with questions that bothered on the origin of ¿all things¿; this was not the concern of Heidegger. Pondering on the our purpose of lives presents us with a seeming paradox: is there a purpose for my existence or am I just 'there'? The research found out, through an analytical and evaluative method, that life is lived in ¿angst¿ (dread) of nothingness (death) , dread of an inescapable temporality of Being; and that through this ¿angst¿ we are necessitated, and should be necessitated, towards living authentic lives. But then, what does it even mean to be Authentic?
