Autorenporträt
Joe Blevins is an author and illustrator of over 40 years. He has 31 books on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and various book sites. Joe has 4 books translated into French and soon a story in the Spanish language. His book Double Trouble, Double Trouble has won in the Amazon's 2018 Indie Reader's Awards for Children's Fiction. Joe worked as a teacher for over 12 years at three different school districts. He worked in various reading programs. There he learned that many students needed to read better to keep pace with their education and with some basic comprehension. (He learned what children liked and what they don't like to read.) Joe's books cover a wide range of genres to cover history, art, science and early education. Joe writes for young readers with numerous children's books available with larger print and colorful illustrations. Even his coloring books tell a good story; besides giving some thought provoking drawings to hold your children's attention and provoke their imaginations to read more often. This particular book is based on a legend from old Ireland. A Celtic story that is over 1200 years old! It is a story of a prince and princess trying to be strong in the face of adversity and strife. We often learn from our mistakes and the struggles of others in situations not too far distant from our own. Children get a sense of accomplishment from reading on their own and having an adult read to them. Joe hopes that this book will become one of your favorites. He has plans for many more in the near future. Joe does the drawings first, then the words of the text follow as the story is carefully laid out. He hopes you will enjoy his stories and tell others about them. Thank you!
