Starting from the denoted and connoted lexicon of characterizations, Bernard Djoumessi ends up by bringing up the theme of the crisis of rationality from the postmodern French narrative. Based on the system of characters, he comes to the conclusion that the narrative is full of modern, overly rational, egotistical characters who defend rationality and the arrogance that characterizes it, but who clash with other characters who claim to be postmodern, who decipher the double language and the flaws of rationality, which they do not hesitate to question in favor of a flexible, sincere, spiritual, disseminated thought, likely to build the world in the direction of the general interest.
