The study findings provide a rich narrative account of how the participants imaginatively engaged with their clients' symbols, developed affective and physiological responses to them and became aware of a deepened sense of presence or communion within the therapeutic relationship. Experiences were felt to be profound, transformational and mysterious, and most participants were unable to fully explain these client/practitioner 'intersect phenomena' by utilising a theoretical body of knowledge. This book will provide interesting reading to those within the field who work with clients presenting spiritual issues and material.

I graduated from The University of Notre Dame, Perth, Australia with a Masters in Counselling and The Churchill Clinic, Perth, Australia with a Graduate Diploma in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I am currently in Private Practice as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in Cheltenham, England and continue to pursue my interest in 'intersect phenomena'.
